HCE Concludes Second Annual Summer Institute

This month a group of Extended Employees from HCE’s completed a six week Summer Institute. Once again, thanks to Maritza Bell who provided these individuals with an opportunity to sharpen their skills in basic education. All who participated gave the course rave results.

What’s Summer without a Picnic

This month, HCE held its Annual Client Picnic. Over 150 participants from HCE’s various programs had a day of fun in the sun. This year once again through its Community Team Works Project, over 20 volunteers from Goldman Sachs joined in the festivities. There was plenty of food, games, and music for great dancing.

The day gave everyone a change to relax and unwind in the August sun. As always, Steve “Bay” rocked the park with his music.

The day was particularly hot, but that did not diminish everyone from either dancing or playing basketball.

A  special thanks is extended to all of our HCE volunteers for all of their hard work and for all of those who volunteered their time to make this day a success.
