Metro Scanning:

Metro Scanning is a social enterprise business operated by HCE. This integrated business offers expanded employment options for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment in a fully functioning document scanning business. The business provides a work opportunity for a broad range of individuals with disabilities through its multiple operational tasks. Whereas Metro Shredding offers work for individuals with developmental disabilities, the nature of the scanning business will offer a range of opportunities for individuals with very diverse disabilities. The business will offer work opportunities based on individual abilities and tolerances for a group of individuals with disabilities who because of the severity of their disabilities are unable to work full time in a competitive work environment. Individuals who are only able to work part time because of medical treatment schedules or tolerance will be able to have flexible schedules within this business.
