If students with disabilities are to have equal access to maximum employment opportunities in their communities, particularly those in technology, an array of approaches and collaboration of school districts, community based organizations, and the business community are necessary. For the past 14 years, Hudson Community Enterprises has offered a range of programs that are available to local school districts as they prepare students with disabilities for employment. The results have been very positive, with 95% of the programs’ graduates linking with adult service providers, post-secondary education, and job placement. Several program options are available based on individual needs and choice.
