HCE’s Workforce
Development Services are dedicated to providing individuals with
disabilities and other barriers to employment with the opportunity to
achieve their highest levels of personal and economic independence. It’s
individualized programs aim to instill program participants with the
self-confidence, training and the experience needed to become job-ready
and employable in today's competitive labor market. HCE’s Workforce
Development Services are highly individualized and offer comprehensive,
progressive programs designed to prepare employees for appropriate,
successful job opportunities in the community. Participants can select
from a menu of service that can include one or more of HCE’s services. By utilizing
HCE’s Workforce Development Services employers not only have access
to a cost effective resource for pre-screened, qualified candidates, but
access to many Tax Credits. HCE’s
graduates are motivated to work and are very dependable. HCE is accredited
by CARF, The Rehabilitation
Accreditation Commission. CARF is a non-governmental organization that
provides international standards and accreditation for organizations that
provide employment and community services to persons with disabilities. When companies
hire a HCE graduate, they are improving the communities in which we all
live and work. The wages earned by these employees are reinvested in the
community, contributing to the strength of our economy and the quality of
life for everyone. Last year, HCE
provided workforce development services to approximately 600 individuals
and placed 100 people directly into competitive employment.
